Should married men go to club without their partners, would they be giving way for temptation by going to club? Tap here to read more http://Teekayspeaks.blogspot.com

29 August 2016

Not every man can overcome the temptation.
Married men shouldnt be clubing every weekend because of the temptations in those places , they would be giving way for temptation and alot of men don't have self-control to over come those temptations .

Night club is not a place for a married man who is a God fearing person, honestly men should be honest with themselves . All the girls men see in clubs wth various degrees of Unclothedness make alot of men to start cheating on their partners unintentional. Be wise as a married man and stay off club.
Anonymous Quote Says:
Everyone that values the institution of Marriage, and realizes that clubbing with someone who isnt your wife could expose you to dangers, that could invariably be detrimental and in the long run, catastrophic to your married life & married status! If i get married tomorrow, i could decide not to even go with my wife. Why because of what my eyes would see! I'll forget my wife is there, and i could start feeling irritated that she is there with me. Humans naturally love freedom, married or Not. I wont speak for anyone, but if i must go, it'll be with my wife. I would be responsible for subsequent consequences of my actions, though! Bad or Good!

Running to clubs every weekend is a bad business. Achievers think of how to create more wealth not who to leave a careless, ungodly life around naked women.. No! You dont have to close down and be a uncivilised husband with a boring life. I know you love that woman on your profile, in your home, the mother of your kids/ future mother of your kids to a fault, making her sad would be the last thing on your mind. Be wise and stay off things that will make you to commit adultery that will destroy you home and marriage.

A man need a woman who is civilised. Use wisdom and pray for Gods intervention to run your home with less crisis. A godly wife should watch what she says when she's angry with her husband . Set your goals as a wife. Dont be lead by your friends. Dont allow your family to be involved or interfere in your marriage. Men look for women that genuinely have their back,so dont be a selfish wife to your husband. A man want a woman that will stand by him when things are not going on smoothly in their lives, when he is facing life challenges . Men want to feel safe around their wives. Dont be a careless wife that takes speculation as facts , dont be a woman that uses her mothers marriage experience to run her home. Be a desirable woman to your spouse. http://Teekayspeaks.blogspot.com budget -padding-security-agencies-probe-jibrins-assets-us-uk-dubai-others .Tap to read more

Security agencies have begun investigations and profiling of assets both in Nigeria and abroad allegedly owned by former chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Appropriation, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin.
It was gathered that the embattled lawmaker-turned anticorruption crusader is said to have multi-billion naira assets in Nigeria, Dubai, United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The assets are mostly houses.

The lawmaker is also said to be maintaining bank accounts in these countries. Jibrin had, at the weekend, confessed being a beneficiary of a questionable office maintenance allowance for members of the House to the tune of N650

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is already investigating him. This revelation came barely a day after he accused the 10 principal officers of sharing more than N10 billion in fraudulent proceeds.

The Kano-born lawmaker, who regretted taking the loot, however promised that he would explain how he used his ill-gotten N650 million. “I have records and account of how I spent every penny that I have taken.

In fact, it has been published in a 150-page book. “However, I have never been comfortable with the money! Thank God the wasteful allowances regime has reached its Waterloo! The country and House will be better off!”

Jibrin had confirmed. But a reliable source in the National Assembly close to the Presidency told New Telegraph yesterday that President Muhammadu Buhari had directed security agencies to do a thorough background checks on Jibrin.

According to the source, it was discovered that Jibrin owns multi-billion naira assets scattered both in Nigeria and abroad, adding that the security agencies, including the EFCC, have made appreciable success and are still working.

“I want to let you know that because of the series of allegations being churned out by the former appropriation chairman, the Presidency had directed security agencies to do background checks on him and the report revealed damning things about him.

“The preliminary report shows that he has properties worth billions of naira here in Nigeria, Dubai, US, UK, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. In fact, by what I gathered, Jibrin is far richer than imagined.”

According to the source, the president was shocked at the revelations so far made. “His assets are stupendous and the presidency is still shocked at how he made such wealth. Although, it is understood he was into business, the source of his assets is being tracked by the security agencies,” the source stated.

He said the security apparatus have also compiled list of his activities when he was chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation during the 7th Assembly. The source explained that it was because of these investigations that Jibrin has not been allowed access to President Buhari since the budget padding scandal broke out.

“This must have informed the decision of the Villa not to grant him access to the president. Buhari was said to have been irked by the amount of stupendous wealth he has garnered at a youthful age,” the lawmaker disclosed.

It will be recalled that Jibrin had, at the beginning of his allegations against Speaker Yakubu Dogara and other members of the House, cried foul over deliberate efforts to stall his access to Mr. President.

According to the source, Jibrin’s decision to confess that he also benefited from the alleged illegal allowances to members of the House was taken after news got to him that the Presidency had ordered a secret investigation into his assets.

“You know, he’s very smart and intelligent. When he accused the 10 principal officers of sharing over N10 billion in illegal allowances, he didn’t mention his own. But as soon as he got wind of the news of background checks on him, he offered to explain how he expended what he was paid.

“He has, all along, denied that he was not part of budget padding but in this case, he also implicated himself,” the source stated. Jibrin had, last Friday, said Dogara allegedly got the lion’s share of N1.5 billion out of the N10 billion with deputy speaker, Yusuf Lasun, benefitting N800 million; Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, N1.2 billion; his deputy, Buba Jibril, N1.2 billion; House Whip, Alhassan Doguwa, N1.2 billion; and his deputy, Pally Iriase, N700 million.

Others were Minority Leader, Leo Ogor, N1.2 billion, his deputy, Chukwuka Onyema, N800 million; Minority Whip, Yakubu Barde, N700 million and his deputy, Binta Bello, N700 million. All attempts to get Jibrin react to this latest development were unsuccessful, as calls to his phone number could not go through.

CHINA TO CONSTRUCT $1.85bn LIGHT RAIL IN KANO STATE

China Railway Construction Corporation says it has won a $1.851 billion contract to construct the Kano city light rail.

In a special announcement in Monday, the company said its directors had received a provisional letter of award from Nigeria.

The rail, with a total length of 74.3 kilometres, is expected to travel at a speed of 100 kilometres per hour.

In context, 100 kilometres per hour is as fast as moving from Lagos to Ibadan in 72 minutes.

The first phase of the project construction is billed to take two years, while the second phase of the four-line rail is expected to take another two years.

“Project contract amount of approximately $ 1.851 billion, equivalent to approximately RMB 120.3 Billion, accounting for 2% of the Company’s 2015 revenue, under the China Accounting Standards,” the announcement read.

The receipt of the contract is valid for three weeks from the day of award, after which “uncertainties” will prevail.

Nigeria is investing heavily in capital projects, building infrastructure, and replacing half-a

-century old rail lines, in the country.

With over N1 trillion budgeted for capital expenditure in the 2016 appropriation act, Nigeria is expected to invest the highest amount of money in capex in its 56-year history.

Fashola inaugurates Japanese 1.2MW solar power donation to Nigeria. read details here http://Teekayspeaks.blogspot.com

Babatunde Fashola, minister of power, works and housing, on Tuesday commissioned a 1.2 megawatts (MW) solar power plant donated to Nigeria by the Japanese government.

Fashola, who is working on raising Nigeria’s power profile through various energy mixes, inspected the plant at Lower Usama, Bwari Abuja.

“We want to get incremental power first, short-term objective. Energy anywhere, we can get it because the energy is not enough,” he said in an
interview.

“Five thousand megawatts, which was our peak production in February this year, is not enough for a country of over 100 million people. We will get it from everywhere — from gas, solar, hydro from nuclear and biomass.”

Nigeria, which currently generates less than 5,000MW of power, is billed to raise its energy profile to at least 6,000MW by the end of 2016.

According to President Muhammadu Buhari,“Nigerians’ favourite talking point and butt of jokes is the power situation in our country. But, ladies and gentlemen, it is no longer a laughing matter.

“We must and by the grace of God we will put things right. In the three years left for this administration we have given ourselves the target of ten thousand megawatts distributable power.

“In 2016 alone, we intend to add two thousand megawatts to the national grid. This sector has been privatised but has yet to show any improvement in the quality of service.”

Power generation is noted by the World Bank Doing Business report as one of the major hindrances to doing business in Nigeria.

Hon. Abdulmumuni Jibrin, on Friday revealed shocking figures collected by principal (Read More Here http://Teekayspeaks.blogspot.com

A former chairman of the House of Representatives committee on appropriations, Hon. Abdulmumuni Jibrin, on Friday revealed shocking figures collected by principal officers of Nigeria's House of Representatives as “running cost” from the time they joined the House.
Jibrin reveals shocking allowances of Nigeria’s House of Reps members..

This is coming after the budget padding controversy that has enveloped the legislative body.

Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, and Jibrin, have for weeks engaged in verbal exchanges, blaming each other for the padding of the 2016 budget.

On Friday, Jibrin, who has been very outspoken on his official Twitter page since he launched his attack on Mr. Dogara, again took to the social media site to reveal how much some of the lawmakers have received since they’ve been in the House.

Below are his tweets:

“In line with my resolve to continue to expose individual and systemic corruption in House, I will today commence the disclosure of what many

Nigerians believe is almost impossible to reveal or are not even aware of – the allowances of Members of the House

My resolve to open up the controversial allowances should be instructive to those who think I am only out to get Dogara out of his seat

If that is my mission, I will definitely not go into the issue of allowances, which is the only aspect that unites the entire House

But if members and Nigerians feel at home with Dogara, a corrupt no4 citizen, despite overwhelming allegations against him and his gang, so be it!

If my colleagues chose to support the Speaker, I wish them safe journey. But on this struggle, I shall continue even if I am alone!

I will continue this crusade to wipe out corruption in the House and trigger internal reforms so that Nigns can have the ideal representative

The imperative of having a corrupt-free House of Representatives cannot be over-emphasized

It is only when the House comes with purity that effective oversight can be done&investigative hearing to expose fraud can be undertaken

When the House is corrupt, it affects the whole country because the House of Representatives is the largest representation of Nigerians

This must be the focus of the fight against corruption. The root of our economic, political&social problems as a country lies in the House

No amount of economic strategy will succeed in this country if we do not put hands together&decisively deal with corruption in the House

Now we come to the crux of the matter. It should be noted, however, that money is voted as “running cost” to members apart from salaries

You don’t need a professor or a committee of technocrats to tell you what is reasonable as running cost for member of the House Reps and also how the money should be administered and who should be the recipient of the money

The way the allowances of members is currently structured can not pass the integrity test of any of the aforesaid. The allowances is systemic corruption that should be dealt with in phases since you can not afford the systemic shock of a oneoff attack.

Today, I will start with the 10 Principal Officers of the House. If just these 10 are named and shamed it will force reform in the House

I will therefore provide what each one of them had collected as “office running cost” in their entire stay in the House

If any one of them disputes my figure,They should not make drama out of it,just simply tell the country how much he or she has collected

Running cost is a money collected by many members (with a few exception) and used as personal funds. No more, no less – case closed!

Most of these members use it to acquire properties, cars and live a life of luxury they never had before coming to the House

Though there exist systems for retirement but a simple investigation by a primary school pupil will reveal the massive fraud therein

From computation of various sub heads of allowances of the House, the 10 Principal Officers received various amounts as follows

Speaker Yakubu Dogara has been in the House from 2007 to date. He has received about 1.5billion .http://Teekayspeaks.blogspot.com

Chris Okotie Insists That All Catholics Will Go To Hell, Also Calls T. B Joshua Son Of The Devil read more Here: http://Teekayspeaks.blogspot.com

All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil, Nigeria’s controversial preacher and former presidential candidate, Chris Okotie, told his congregation on Sunday, leaving members bewildered. News by Sotikare Eniola (Enifex) via airloaded.

Fifty-five year old Okotie, while preaching in his Household of God Church in Ikeja area of Lagos, western Nigeria, said the Catholic church is “a counterfeit church set up by Satan” and that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body.”

“They are not Christians and have never been,” Okotie told a stunned congregation.

“They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,” Okotie said.

He said Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ who does the job of the devil and that time is fast approaching when the Catholic church will pledge allegiance to Satan.

“The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times,” Okotie erupted.

He advised members of his church to come to the rescue of Catholics and evangelise them.

This, he said, was not out of disrespect but out of respect for the word of God.

He said those who know the truth should bring it to those who do not know it in the Catholic Church.

Okotie said one of the Catholic most revered Popes, Pope John Paul 11, surrendered the Catholic Church to Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus Christ, instead of Jesus himself. He said even the current Pope Francis has also done same.

He said Catholics are not Christians and do not worship the same Christ that he preaches in his church, at least the one spoken about in the Bible.

Okotie said he did not write the Bible but it was clear to him that those in the Catholic church were lost and were heading to hell fire.

“They don’t believe in heaven. They believe in purgatory, the purgatory that they invented,” Okotie said.

“That church, the Catholic church has been there for Satan and at the right time, they will declare for Satan,”Okotie said.

Okotie who has been married twice and divorced also twice

The once rock star turned celebrity preacher and politician has been controversial for years.

He once said it was the devil who told him for the first time that he was going to be a preacher.

He also said Nigeria’s famous preacher Prophet T.B. Joshua is the son of the devil and his followers will go straight to hell.

In recent years, he has been saying that God has anointed him to be Nigeria’s president. That prophecy has not come to pass in two presidential elections that he participated in.

MR. GODWIN EMEFIELE THE GOVERNOR OF NIGERIA CBN HAD THIS TO EXPLAIN ABOUT NIGERIA'S CURRENT ECONOMIC SITUATION

FROM NIGERIA CBN GOVERNOR

Mr. Godwin Emefiele’s Report: Quote

“It is either I do not understand economics and how exchange rates work or a vast majority of us Nigerians still don’t get how we have wrecked our country with our own curious choices.
Just this morning, I was listening to the radio and the lady on air went on and on about how she thought CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele was incompetent and should be sacked because the Naira was now exchanging at 309 or so to the USD.

“That view pretty much echoes the sentiments expressed by many people I know and it amazes me that there are Nigerians who actually think there is some magic POLICY that can make the Naira strong in the near term. If my economics and my understanding of the way the world works are right, then that is as far from the truth as Jesus Christ is black.
“The simple fact of the matter is that apart from oil that accounts for over 90% of our revenues, we really don’t have much of an economy. We hardly produce anything, we import even toothpicks, so exactly what policy is going to be implemented that will turn Nigeria into a top exporting economy in the near term? Where are our Apples, IBMs, Disneys, GMs, General Electrics, Coca Colas, Empire State buildings, Statues of Liberties, Lockheeds, Citibanks, JP Morgans, ExxonMobils, NBAs, Super Bowls etc? Let me bring that closer home.
“There was a time long ago when Nigeria had a truly strong economy and the naira was one to the dollar – even exchanged for higher than the USD, but that Nigeria is not this Nigeria. Sadly that Nigeria was laid by the British, and this Nigeria (if you don’t believe in the nonsensical imperialist conspiracies like me) – fueled by the DAMAGING Indigenization Decree, has been the creation of us Nigerians.
Back then we had a booming economy.
We were either the top, or among the top exporters, of timbre, cocoa, groundnuts, rubber, palm oil, etc, in the world. Nigerians not only holidayed at home in their villages, at Yankari Games Reserve, at Obudu Cattle Ranch, at Oguta Lake, at Ikogosi springs, at Gurara Falls, at Mambilla Platueau, etc, we attracted international tourists who brought in loads of foreign exchange. Even Nigerian schools were foreign exchange earners because they attracted foreign students.
“We had different car assembly plants – Peugeot, Volkswagen, Anamco etc. Nigerian government officials only bought vehicles assembled in Nigeria for official cars. We had a thriving sports industry. We were not Man United or Chelsea fans, we were Rangers or IICC fans. We had the Nduka Odizors, people made money from sports. We also had companies like Lennards and Bata producing school shoes in their thousands, we had the thriving Nigerian Airways and the Aviation School in the north that produced some of the best pilots in the world. In those days if you were brilliant you were respected much more than the crass money-miss-road contractors of today. Most of the Aje Butters I knew had fathers who were university dons. Back then it meant something to ‘know book’. Our textile industry was alive and well. Just recently I watched a news report on the textile industry in Nigeria on CCTV News. Though the main focus was on the comatose status of the industry, I was stunned by the gigantic Kaduna Textile Mill built in 1957. I could go on and on.
“Today however, no thanks to our parents (and we must call them out the way Wole Soyinka did his generation) and many of us (and we should be remembered for failing our children if we continue like this), we have destroyed everything. Today for instance Nigerian football (which comes easy to me obviously) doesn’t appeal to us, we have to fly across thousands of miles to watch ‘our’ clubs play. Every year we collectively burn billions of Naira being fans of clubs that give us nothing back, but some ‘entertainment value’ – simple pleasures for which we are ready to destroy the future of our children.
“Well people, payback time is here. Even with our ta-she-re money we all want to wear designer clothes and carry designer bags, Armani, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton etc. We all want to drive jeeps with American specs, our children must now school overseas and acquire the necessary accents to come back home and bamboozle their ‘bush and crass’ contemporaries that they left behind. Who holidays in Nigeria anymore, is there Disneyland here? No one buys made-in-Nigeria school bags for their children, after all no Superman or Incredible Hulk or Cinderella on them.“We are no longer top exporters of anything and the demise of oil means we have zilch… zero. A country of 170M fashion-
conscious people has no textile industry. We take delight in showing how our made-in- Switzerland Aso Ebi is different class to everyone else’s. When we help our musicians grow and pay them millions, they repay us by immediately shipping the monies overseas to produce their “i-don-dey-different-level” music videos. It makes no difference that distinctly Zulu dancers are dancing to a Nigerian highlife song.
“As stars concerned they also wed and holiday overseas to impress us all. All the musicians who acknowledge their Ajegunle roots now speak in a cocktail of strange accents to symbolise how much they have blown their monies overseas. Were we a more serious people, the highly popular Kingsway Stores of the past would probably have a thousand outlets pan Nigeria today supporting a massive agriculture industry among others, but today we have the likes of SPAR, Shoprite, dominating the retail industry while Kingsway is dead.
“And we Nigerians make it a
special point to shop from the Oyinbos who have ‘cleaner shops’, ‘better this and better that’. For our personal pleasure we don’t mind them dominating us in our own backyard and shipping proceeds overseas. I could go on and on, but I don tire. Even as you are reading this, stop for a moment and look around you. What you see will probably explain why we are lucky it is not N1000 to the USD yet. And don’t think for a moment that it cannot get there.
“Just continue to wear your
Armani gear and Swiss-made
lace, continue to spend your
money on Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barca and encourage your children to do same. (My article tomorrow in my Saturday column in This Day is on the Nigerian champions Enyimba FC – Nigeria’s most successful club – not having a
sponsor, yet Nigerian brands pay over N600m to Man United and Arsenal for sponsorship to impress us.) Ehhh, no problem, continue to tell me the NPFL is rubbish or the clubs should clean up their act if they want sponsorship, mo gbo .
“Don’t curtail your interest in
choice wines ( we were the
number one champagne
consumers in the world in 2015), continue to love your American specs, cheer the education ministry for letting schools sink to pitiable levels, don’t fight them to improve our schools, don’t chide them for letting schools drop Nigerian history and embrace British, America and whatever else curricular.
“Carry on with your love of
French wines and Chinese silk, don’t bother about Jamiu Alli when there is Roger Federer.
Stock up on your Italian,
American, British products which you cannot live without, including the ‘baby soft’ toilet rolls produced only in that small unique village in England – the days are long gone since you were a broke student who used wet newspapers to wipe your butt.
“Don’t even consider holidaying in Nigeria, it’s too dangerous – you have to fulfill your dream of being Nigeria’s Henry Ford. Don’t listen to people like me who have a wardrobe full of only cheap adire that is actually cheaper than just one of your Tom Ford blazers. Please keep dressing in fine silk made in some exotic place so you can be addressed accordingly.
“Finally keep letting corrupt
leaders who have looted your
commonwealth and shipped all the monies overseas get away because to attack them does not fit your political narrative. Let us continue with the fine life, let us all continue to work for Oyinbo.
But don’t forget that there is a payback time: Worth sharing again. I must equally add, there is nothing wrong in wearing designers but it's the misplaced priority over the lives of children and the economy of a whole nation.
Remember that Because you can afford it, does not make it compulsory to have it.

SA Appeals Court Reserves Judgement On Henry Okah’s Case

Breaking News Via Channels Television

Henry_OKahA panel of five justices of South Africa’s Supreme Court of Appeal led by Justice Mahomed Navsa have reserved Judgement in the case brought by alleged leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), Henry Okah.

Okah, who is serving a 24-year jail term for terror related activities, had approached the Appeal Court to set his conviction and sentence aside, based on the claim that the Act, under which he was convicted, does not bestow a South African court with the jurisdiction to try him.

His counsel asserts that the definition of terrorism in the Act is too broad and as a result is in breach of the South African constitution, particularly with regards to the Bill of Rights.

Okah was appealing his jail term in the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein.

He was convicted by the South Gautheng High Court in 2013 this stemming from his plotting a terror attack in Nigeria in
2010.

Rice’ll sell for N9, 000 before December. Lagos State Is Working To Help Give Nigerians The Dream Change They Somuch Desire. .

Rice’ll sell for N9, 000 before December’
by Our Reporter, August 25, 2016 Via The Nation OnlineNews

The agro-business scheme run by the Lagos State government in Kebbi State will put an end to the high cost of foodstuff in the Southwest, Chairman, Alimosho Local Government in Lagos, Mr. Ganiyu Quadri, said on Tuesday.
Specifically, the council boss said the price of a bag of rice, which is N18,500, will drop to N9,000 before December.
Quadri gave the assurance while receiving a delegation of Rotary Club of Akowonjo 9110, led by its District-Governor, Patrick Ikheloa, and President, Shola Abidakun.
According to the council chief, the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in Lagos swung into agro-business to ensure food security for its people.
“By the end of this year, or first quarter next year, things will change in Lagos. Already, we are into agro-business in Kebbi State. We have massive land on which we planted grains, among which is rice, our people’s staple food. And it is expected that the truck-loads of rice will storm Lagos soon.
“So, I can assure you that before the end of this year, the price of a bag of rice, which is N18,000, will drop to N9,000.”
Quadri, who regretted the financial strains in which councils found themselves, said one of the mandates of sole administrators was to see how they could pay up debts owed by councils.

ex-militants trained as pilots unemployable – Boroh By Mustapha Suleiman

retired Brig General Paul Boroh
The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Co-ordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme, retired Brig General Paul Boroh, yesterday said the 120 former Niger Delta militants who were trained abroad as pilots were unemployable because they were yet to undergo the last stage of their training.
The ex-agitators were trained in Germany, Jordan, South Africa, USA and UAE, according to the special adviser.

Boroh, who was addressing journalists on the activities of the Amnesty Office, said without undergoing the type-written training, they would be unemployable.
However, he pointed out that plans had already been concluded to send them back to complete their training.
Boroh said: “That is the final stage of the training, an industrial kind of training you need to qualify for employment as a pilot. All these years that this place was running, they were not given that training. They did not do that specialized course that would qualify them for employment.
“The Maintenance Engineers that need type-written training are 39, the helicopter engineers are 32. Oil & gas are over 50.”
But he pointed out that irrespective of the trade or profession they learnt, all of them would be trained to focus on agriculture because of the present administration’s efforts to diversify from oil to agriculture and mineral resources.
Out of the 30,000 ex-agitators, he said 26,606 had been trained, remaining 13,395, many of which would also be launched into agriculture.

Marriage Tips For People Who Have a Rejecting or Difficult Spouse

If you can't, then you will always need your husband to make you feel good. And, when he doesn't, you will be critical of him. He won't experience this as you loving him; he will experience it as you being demanding. He will start to withhold affection from you and your marriage will become a competition of needs. A quick test of how needy you are is to ask yourself how well you handle your husband's criticism, how much you fear his rejection, and how often you think about what he needs or wants. Not puttng up with his criticism is one thing, but falling apart because of it is another. Although no one wants to divorce, living in fear of it makes people compromise their values and lose respect. And, if you rarely consider your husband's needs, it's a sure bet that you are too focused on your own. This method is #1 because if you are needy, then everything else you do to be attractive will be canceled out.

#2 LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN WHAT YOUR HUSBAND DID IN THE PAST—When you tell your husband something good about what he has done, he will become more attracted to you. His past is a large part of his identity. Telling your husband he is so much more improved over how he used to be may seem loving to you, but it will be experienced partially as rejection or criticism by him. There is a reason men talk about things they used to do, or achievements they had years before. It is part of the way they see themselves now. Even an old man will appreciate, and be attracted to, someone who admires him for something he did 50 years ago. Never discount your husband's past or put him down for being less capable now. If he ran a marathon before and is obese now, don't point out to him that he sure couldn't run a marathon anymore. It may sound funny, but it's not what that nice secretary would say or that ne acquaintance on Facebook.

#3
Be your husband's fan and cheerleader
Keep a running list of what you appreciate about your husband. Nothing is too small to go on this list. Make him feel like you are his number one fan. No one likes their critics, but everyone likes their fan club.

How To Be a Good Spouse To Your Partner .

Your husband's innermost desire is not to be attracted to you...it is for you to be attracted to him

The women who are your competition are the one's who make your husband feel important, interesting, capable, and attractive. The admiring secretary has a much better chance of having an affair with your husband than the young beauty who lives next door--even if she is ten years older than you! To keep your husband attracted to you, you need to make your husband feel young (even if he's 60), attractive, important, and interesting. Don't do it because you fear losing him (that would be needy), but do it because you love him and because that's part of what it really means to be married.

Honour her. “Showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel” (1 Peter 3:7). Because both you and your wife have a soul for eternity, you have equal worth. Because your wife is weaker than you are, you need to honour her in a special way to show you realise her worth. You also need to protect her. Feminism insists on obscuring differences between men and women. This leads to a loss of the realisation that men need to honour and protect women, especially husbands their wives. In the grind of daily living, the command to husbands to “not be harsh” with their wives (Colossians 3:19) is one of the most important ways to show the honour wives deserve.

ALIKO DANGOTE UNVEILS NIGERIA'S FIRST FINTECH BANK.

Aliko Dangote unveils Nigeria’s first Fintech Bank
August 24, 2016
Press Release

It was celebration galore on Monday, August 15, 2016 when the President of the Dangote Group and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote led other dignitaries to flag off Nigeria’s first full-fledged technology bank, SunTrust Bank.

SunTrust Bank is the first regional

bank to receive a new license by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) since 2001 and the first full-fledged financial technology bank in Nigeria.

The Bank is the first commercial bank that runs minimal branches and focuses on electronic channels by offering telephone, mobile and internet banking services.

According to Mr. Dangote who chaired the opening ceremony at the bank’s headquarters in Lagos, Fintech Bank is a welcome development in this era of cashless economy. He emphasized that SunTrust Bank will help the country harness its potential in the digital world.

He explained further that technology-driven platform would distinguish the bank and make it the most cost-effective bank in the country with fewer personnel and attendant lower overhead cost.

“SunTrust bank has elements that appeal to me in its Fintech strategy driven by its focus on technology,” the businessman said.

“SunTrust has recognized that the old model of business expansion via a network of expensive branch premises is obsolete. What you need now is to sit down at home and do your banking transactions thereby saving money and time.”

Mr. Dangote commended the board, management and staff of the bank for their courage in taking the bold step at a time “banks all over the world are facing multiple challenges and headwinds” and noted that the Bank’s focus will drive it to success.

21 Signs You're In An Emotionally Abusive Relationship By Marni Feuerman Expert HEABREAK. Love You First Good relationships don't make you #FeelSad Domestic violence is once again in the forefront by Matthew Santoro, explaining using his personal experience with his own emotionally abusive relationship. Abuse is not always as obvious as being hit or shoved, called degrading names or cussed out. In fact, it can very well be underhanded or subtle. You may find yourself feeling confused about the relationship, off balance or like you are "walking on eggshells" all the time. This is the kind of abuse that often sneaks up on you as you become more entrenched in the relationship. I'm talking here about psychological abuse — also known as mental or emotional abuse. Psychological abuse occurs when a person in the relationship tries to control information available to another person with intent to manipulate that person's sense of reality or their view of what is acceptable and not acceptable. Psychological abuse often contains strong emotionally manipulative content and threats designed to force the victim to comply with the abuser's wishes. All abuse takes a severe toll on self-esteem. The abused person starts feeling helpless and possibly even hopeless. In addition, most mental abusers are adept at convincing the victim that the abuse is his/her fault. Somehow, the victim is responsible for what happened. A more sophisticated form of psychological abuse is often referred to as "gaslighting." This happens when false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity. Examples may range simply from the abuser denying that previous abusive incidents ever occurred to staging bizarre events with the intention of confusing the victim. I listened to a client tell me that her husband denied an affair after his she found a racy email to another woman on his computer and confronted him. The husband vehemently denied this and went so far as to send an email to his tech guy asking how his account could have been hacked and to fix the problem! A common form of emotional abuse is "I love you, but ... " That may sound nice at first, yet it is both a disguised criticism and a threat. It indicates, "I love you now, but if you don't stop this or that, my love will be taken away." It is a constant jab that slowly strips away your self-esteem. Abusers get a lot of reinforcement out of using the word "love" as it seems to become a magic word to control you. Abusers at times do what I call "throw you a bone." I have heard countless times from clients that their partner was "nice," "complimentary," "gave me a gift," etc. as if it should erase all of the bad treatment. You need to understand that this is part of the dynamic and cycle of abuse. In fact, it is rare for abusive relationships to NOT have these (often intense) moments of feeling good, overly sincere apologies or attempts to make up for the bad behavior. The victim clings to hope when these moments occur and the abuser knows this. Here are some signs to watch for if you think you or a friend may be in psychologically abusive relationship: Humiliating or Embarrassing Constant put-downs Hypercriticism Refusing to communicate Ignoring or excluding you Extramarital affairs Provocative behavior with opposite sex Use of sarcasm and unpleasant tone of voice Unreasonable jealousy Extreme moodiness Mean jokes or constantly making fun of you Saying "I love you but..." Saying things like "If you don't _____, I will_____" Domination and control Withdrawal of affection Guilt trips Making everything your fault Isolating you from friends and family Using money to control Constant calling or texting when you are not with him/her Threatening to commit suicide if you leave It's important to remember is that psychological abuse is absolutely not your fault. Abusers are expert manipulators with a knack for getting you to believe that the way you are being treated is your fault. These people know that everyone has insecurities, and they use those insecurities against you.

For 6 Years, Jonathan was Busy Drinking, Making Merry--MEND

For 6 Years, Jonathan was Busy Drinking, Making Merry--MEND
Leaders of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger-Delta, MEND, undergoing trials in South, and Nigeria, Henry and Charles Okah yesterday declared that former President Goodluck spent six years in office (2009-2015) drinking and having fun, contrary to the ex-leader's claim to a myriad of legacies. The Okah brothers while denying allegations by Jonathan that they were trying to assassinate him, said they would take him to court over the allegations. Spokesperson of Movement for Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, Jomo Gbomo, disclosed this online while reacting to Jonathan’s response to the accusation by the Reformed Niger Delta Avengers, RNDA, that he (Jonathan) was the grand patron of Niger Delta Avengers, NDA. MEND asserted: ‘’A substantial portion of Mr. Jonathan’s statement unfortunately dwelt on judicial matters, which are pending in various courts in Nigeria and South Africa. ‘’For instance, Mr. Henry Okah’s appeal in South Africa’s Constitutional Court is due for hearing this August, while his brother, Charles’ ongoing trial in Nigeria is pending before Hon. Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court in Abuja. “The former President’s statement was, therefore, contemptuous and prejudicial to the success of the ongoing trials of Henry and Charles Okah in South African and Nigerian courts, respectively. Consequently, both brothers shall, because of the former President’s prejudicial statement, institute legal action against him in South Africa and Nigeria within 60 days, commencing from today, August 8, 2016. “Accordingly, they have briefed their respective solicitors to formally engage the former President in litigation,” Jomo Gbomo stated. Commenting on Jonathan’s attempt to dissociate himself from the RNDA allegation, MEND said: “With all due respect, the entire statement was deeply provocative and embarrassingly misconceived as it woefully failed to address the core issue of whether or not the former President was, indeed, the grand patron of NDA. “Rather, the statement employed diversionary tactics which dwelt extensively on sour grapes! Any follower of events in Nigeria and the Niger Delta privileged to read the statement released by Mr. Jonathan, would immediately observe that the former President had a score to settle with the Okah brothers as well as MEND, which have since May 30, 2014, stopped attacks on Nigeria’s oil and gas assets. ‘’They are currently engaged in dialogue with the Federal Government to find sustainable ways and means of ending the festering Niger Delta crisis, which was exacerbated by the former President’s ineptitude, incompetence and corruption during the six years he governed the country.” Media Adviser to the former President, Mr. Ikechukwu Eze, however disclosed that Jonathan was not in the country and could, therefore, not react allegations raised by the Okah brothers. The Statement from MEND stated further that ‘’Indeed, the problem in the Niger Delta today has nothing to do with the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, far from it. The problem is simply the failure of Mr. Jonathan to address the root issues confronting the region when he was at the helm.” “Even though he was from the impoverished region and had by his own admission in numerous electioneering campaigns, experienced utter poverty and abject neglect of the region foisted by successive Nigerian governments and the International Oil Companies since the discovery of oil in 1958 at Oloibiri (a few meters away from his native Otuoke) in Bayelsa State. Mr. Jonathan disappointingly frittered away the opportunity to rescue his people when the Nigerian Presidency fortuitously landed on his laps virtually on a platter of gold. “For six whole years, Mr. Jonathan was busy drinking, making merry and generally chasing shadows at the State House. Such a fellow deserves to be ostracized from the assembly of reasonable men because the Nigerian Presidency might never come back to the region as cheap as it came to Mr. Jonathan; perhaps in the next 100 years. “Lest we forget, MEND was at the forefront of the armed struggle back in 2006/2007, which forced President Olusegun Obasanjo to consider the option of drafting an Ijaw man into the mainstream of Nigerian politics. ‘’That was how the perpetually timid and naïve Goodluck Jonathan became Vice President and later, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” “When he assumed therein as President, he did the unthinkable; he tracked down perceived MEND leaders and promptly got them imprisoned on a trumped up charge of attempt to assassinate him. Up until today, Mr. Jonathan is still suffering from an Assassination Paranoia Complex (APC). “Back to the core issue, MEND cannot hold brief for the RNDA, which pointedly accused the former President of complicity in fuelling the ongoing Niger Delta crisis and patronizing the NDA, apparently for political reasons. ‘’We are, however, quick to point out the fact that the RNDA has merely vindicated MEND’s belief and conviction that the former President and his cronies, who lost the 2015 Presidential election were using the NDA platform to destabilize President Buhari’s government.” It reiterated that MEND was committed to working with the current administration to bring peace, stability and development to the Niger Delta and that the process had since commenced with the constitution of the Federal Government/MEND Aaron Team 2 Dialogue, Peace and Development Initiative. “Between August 22, 2016 and October 07, 2016, the Aaron Team shall embark on a tour of the Niger Delta. The proposed tour is code-named “Operation Moses” and the key focus of the tour is to persuade militants to ceasefire and support President Muhammadu Buhari in his determined and sincere effort to develop the region. “The tour shall also help to boost Nigeria’s oil production capacity as well as improve host community relations with oil and gas companies in the country,” it added. Reps, NNPC, DPR begin verification of oil blocks’ owners

August 9, 2016 • Reps, NNPC, DPR begin verification of oil blocks’ owners The House of Representatives in a session. Nigeria’s House of Representatives in a session. 09 August 2016, Abuja – The House of Representatives and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) have begun verification of authentic holders of oil blocks licenses in Nigeria, chairman of an adhoc committee set up for that purpose, Hon. Gideon Gwani has disclosed. Gwani said recently in Abuja that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara had set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate all the holders of Oil Mining Leases (OML) and Oil Prospecting Licenses (OPL) in the country with a view to making appropriate recommendations to the federal government as revenue accruing from oil sales dwindles. Acording to him, the committee was undertaking the verification with the DPR, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He said as part of the exercise, the committee recently visited oil firms such as Belemaoil which owns an offshore license – OML 55, in Rivers State, and where he expressed his delight that an indigenous company has invested massively in oil production in the country. A statement from Belemaoil which signed by its media advisor, Victor Ivoke quoted Gwani to have said when the committee visited the company that they were investigating the situation of oil companies operating in the Niger Delta area as well as ascertain the number of OPL and OML issued in the country. He noted that part of their mandate was to meet all the holders of such licenses to see if they are in operation or abandoned. “Our committee’s job is also to make sure that those holding these mining rights have gone through due process. Those who did not go through due process we shall recommend that they relinquish such rights because they are doing business illegally. “We have just started the investigation and now at the verification stage and we want to see if the foreign companies doing business in Nigeria are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. “At the end of this investigation, we will analyse all the information collated about every company and make appropriate recommendation to the House of Representatives. We are doing this investigation in concert with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) which is the regulatory body and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),” Gwani said. He stated on the status of Belemaoil, that they were making use of it and can be seen from evidences from DPR affirming that their approval on OML 55 operatorship was genuine. “We hope that many more companies can borrow a leaf from Belemaoil and do what Belemaoil has done particularly for their host community where they have employed so many youths in the area,” he noted. Commenting on reported call that more oil blocs should be allocated to the indigenes of Niger Delta, Gwani said such call was justified, adding that it was one of the reasons for the committee’s investigation. He reportedly said: “That is why we are carrying out this investigation. We believe that when some of these oil blocks that were illegally acquired are relinquished, it will create an opportunity for some members of the host communities to participate in the acquisition process. “By this, Niger Delta indigenes will have opportunity to do business with these resources in their domain and also contribute to the national economy. I believe that if we allow indigenes of Niger Delta to own some of these oil wells, we will have peace in the area and the country will witness stable economic growth.
