Inspirational quote for those waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb

My Comforter.
1 Sam 1:10.
Says "ln bitterness of soul, Hannah wept much and prayed to the Lord."
Every Woman goes through trying times at a given point in time. It may make you bitter and tears may just not stop flowing.
It could be the loss of a loved one, betrayal,
been misunderstood, waiting on the Lord for something or the fruit of the womb as in Hannah's case or even healing etc.
Permit me to lay emphasis on these three(3) facts, that Hannah was bitter, wept much, and prayed. One out of these 3 proved right and brought change, and that is PRAYER. God saw how much anguish and torment she was going through and He answered in a way that proves him as a Miracle Worker. I encourage you today to go before your Maker in petition. And the same God that answered Hannah will do same for you.

Prayer:
Lord I come before you helpless and in torment.
Heal my soul and turn my sorrows to gladness in Jesus name. Amen.

Ahobi Joy.

NO LONGER BUSINESS AS USUAL IN NIGERIA - PRESIDENT BUHARI

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on the Nigerian elite to stop insisting that things should be done the ‘old way’, which impoverished the nation.

Speaking at a meeting with a group of Nigerians in the Diaspora, on the margins of the 3rd Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa on Tuesday in Dakar, the President said his administration is on the right track to improve the image of the country by entrenching accountability and probity in governance.

President Buhari told the 11-man Nigerian delegation of association leaders resident in Senegal and Cote D’ Ivoire, that the last 16 years of poor handling of the nation’s resources and infrastructure have continued to impact negatively on the country.

“This administration is pleased we won the election, we are pleased Nigerians are cooperating with us. But the problems are so enormous that we need the cooperation of Nigerians, particularly the elite.

“They (elite) should reflect on the condition of the country, and stop making expensive demands because things cannot be done the old way,’’ the President said.

On the welfare of Nigerians in the Diaspora, President Buhari assured them that the Federal Government will continue to promote good neighbourliness and improve the negative perception about Nigerians abroad.

“Nigerians are known for their competitiveness and I am very passionate about Nigeria. I will continue to preach good neighbourliness and work hard to improve the numerous human and material resources in the country,’’ he said.

In his remarks, the President of the Nigerian community, Cote D’ Ivoire, Alhaji Adebayo Yahaya, commended the President for his bold and unflinching fight against corruption, saying ``Nigerians are praying for your success, don’t relent, do not lose hope, the almighty God is behind you.’’

Also speaking, the President of the Nigerian community, Senegal, Mr Osas Edigin, told the President that Nigerians in the country have enjoyed excellent relationship with their hosts.

What if my spouse won’t admit there’s a problem in our marriage?

It is not necessary for your spouse to admit there is a problem for God to begin working. God does not allow these types of situations in our lives to bring problems to us, but rather to reveal problems in us. The healing begin process may well begin as we stop living to the demands of our spouse and begin looking to God for our peace and security. As we place our faith in God, in time He will reveal His truth to us. In the meantime, there are others who have been where you are now who can help you uncover the truth as well as provide their insight and support on how to survive the ordeal you are facing.
Many times people want to know the definition of betrayal.
To some, it is about having intercourse and other sexual contact with another person. With others, betrayal is more about one’s spouse feeling emotionally connected to someone else- late conversations of a personal nature with a co-worker, or an on-going, intimate friendship with another person. To others, it is secrecy. This may involve secret email accounts, cell phones, Internet behavior, or an unwillingness to share information about whereabouts, spending habits, or life plans.
The fact is, there is no universal definition of betrayal. When two people are married, they must care about each other’s feelings. They don’t always have to agree, but they must behave in ways that make the relationship feel safe. Therefore, if one person feels threatened or betrayed, his or her spouse must do some soul searching and change in ways to accommodate those feelings. In other words, betrayal is in the eye of the beholder. If you or your partner feel betrayed, you need to change what you’re doing to make the marriage work. According to Michele Weiner-Davis, article Know About Affairs.
My advice : Be faithful to your spouse. Set a tone of faith, trust in your marriage by proving yourself worthy of his/hers trust and if someone accuses you of cheating on he/she dismiss it by correcting the mistake you did in the past, try to correct the past wrongs through your actions towards your partner.

How Obasanjo, Yaradua, Jonathan blew over N70trn in 15yrs

A fresh report by the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative yesterday revealed that Nigeria under the administrations of President Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, and Goodluck Jonathan blew a mind-boggling N70 trillion of earnings from sale of crude oil and gas between 1999 and 2014.

NEITI made the disclosure that Nigeria in the last eight years had lost over $200bn it could have earned from the exportation and sales of mineral deposits found in several states of the federation.

Making the shocking disclosures yesterday, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), Mr. Waziri Adio, told the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs during an oversight visit to his office that unless Nigeria develops a prudent way of spending, the country may be in for very rough times in the coming years.

He added that it was unfortunate and unthinkable that despite the huge earnings recorded from crude oil sales over the years, Nigeria is unable to account for at least $100 billion in the excess crude account.

Mr. Adio therefore called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government to develop a saving mechanism that accommodates drastic slash on government spending to the barest minimum, if indeed his administration must succeed.

He said: "Let me inform the committee that we discovered that between 1999 and 2014, the country spent over N70 trillion it received from oil and gas alone. That is a whole lot of money. And what is sad is that it was spent without the country being able to show for it. I think it is quite unfortunate."

"For the sake of emphasis, however, I think if previous administrations had developed a culture for prudent management of resources, Nigeria ought to have over $100 billion saved in the excess crude account. So, going forward, it is necessary for government to think about saving a lot more, and do all it can as well to cut down on wasteful spending if the nation must make progress," the Executive Secretary added.

Lamenting the challenges confronting the agency, Mr. Adio told the Senate committee that Nigeria risks suspension from the global Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), if the agency fails to complete its audit report by a given deadline which times out in December this year.

The Executive Secretary who also decried the unavailability of funds owing to late releases by the Ministry of Finance, told members of the panel led by its Chairman, Senator Tijjani Kaura (APC, Zamfara North), that same was responsible for the inability of the agency to conclude work on its audit report to the world body, EITI.

He added that should Nigeria be suspended from the world body as a result of the agency's failure to met the December deadline for the submission of its audit report, such development would be an embarrassment on the image and reputation of the nation before the international community.

"The agency has been battling with the issue of funding, and this is due to late releases. As a result of this challenge which we face, we have been unable to conclude work on the 2014 audit report.

The deadline which we have been given is December, and this is due to the 2 years interval required to come up with one as stipulated by the world body. Failure to meet it may result in Nigeria's suspension. That, will be very embarrassing for us as a nation," Adio lamented.

Responding, Vice Chairman of the Senate committee, Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi (APC, Kaduna North), Said that the committee would require the effort of NEITI to close the communication gap between the agency and the upper chamber with a view to ensuring effective collaboration.

According to him, NEITI is the second agency among all government agencies that has not got its capital releases adequately met by the federal government, describing the development as "a misnomer."

He added that under the present administration, "all agencies have had releases between 45 percent and 65 per cent. It is a misnomer to find that your agency up until this time has got less than 30 per cent, a figure which falls short of the average release.

"Our focus now is to help you achieve greater heights, and this involves working with you and putting heads together so as to avoid a repeat of non-release of funds in the 2017 budget," the lawmaker said.

END.
